Description

The North Face Purple Label NP2754N 65/35 Mountain Parka in Dark Navy. Released for the 2017 Autumn/Winter collection, this model was part of Purple Label’s established line of updated heritage mountain parkas. Its original Japanese retail price was ¥32,000.

The design is based on a mountain parka originally released by The North Face during the 1970s. Purple Label revised the original outdoor design with a lighter construction, updated proportions and easier access to the pockets. The 2017 version also introduced a lighter lining and slightly increased the overall sizing.

The outer is made from Purple Label’s signature 65/35 Bayhead Cloth. This combines 65% polyester with 35% cotton to produce a smooth, matte outer with more structure than a lightweight nylon shell. It retains the appearance of traditional outdoor clothing while remaining practical for everyday urban use.

The front has four large pleated patch pockets with protective flaps. Two are positioned at the chest and two at the lower body. Additional internal pockets provide storage without changing the clean exterior. The front closes with a two way zip and a full branded snap placket.

The attached hood can be adjusted using drawcords finished with leather tabs. A shaped shoulder yoke frames the upper body and continues around the hood opening. Snap cuffs allow adjustment at the wrists. Branded metal hardware and leather reinforcement behind selected snap fastenings add durability and a distinctive Purple Label finish.

The interior is fully lined. The upper body and pocket bags use nylon, while the lower body and sleeves use polyester. This keeps the jacket comfortable over shirts, knitwear and sweatshirts while allowing the sleeves to move smoothly.

Presented in near new pre owned condition. All visible hardware is present and operating correctly. The hood cords, leather tabs, snaps, zips, lining and pocket construction remain intact. Only very light signs of storage or handling are visible.

This is a strong everyday outerwear option for buyers interested in Japanese outdoor design, nanamica, heritage mountain parkas and understated utility clothing.
