This PORTER SMOKY shoulder bag is an earlier discontinued model from one of Yoshida & Co.’s best-known utility bag ranges.
The structured rectangular design offers considerably more organisation than a conventional shoulder bag. Two top zip closures provide access to divided storage sections. Inside, a central zipped compartment and multiple organiser pockets help separate smaller belongings. The exterior includes two front utility pockets beneath a press-stud flap and a discreet rear zipped pocket.
An adjustable and removable shoulder strap allows the bag to be worn across the body or over one shoulder. PORTER-branded zip pulls, metal attachment rings, snap hardware and the woven Yoshida & Company label complete the design.
The SMOKY series is recognised for its distinctive CORDURA duck construction. Cotton yarn is used through the warp while durable CORDURA nylon is woven through the weft. This creates a dense surface with a naturally mottled charcoal appearance rather than a flat solid black colour. The original model measures approximately 28 cm wide, 22 cm high and 15 cm deep, with a listed weight of approximately 535 g.

Very good pre-owned condition. The bag remains clean, well shaped and structurally sound. The CORDURA duck exterior presents strongly with no visible holes, tears or significant staining. Both main zip closures, the rear zip, internal zip, press studs, hook-and-loop fastenings and strap hardware appear complete and functional.
The interior is notably clean and retains its original organiser sections. The shoulder strap remains intact with no visible splitting or major fraying. The PORTER label is secure and clearly legible.
Visible Flaws
Light scratching and age-related patina are visible on the front press studs, attachment rings, clasps and metal zip pulls. There is minor surface variation across the charcoal exterior consistent with normal use and the natural appearance of the SMOKY material. No significant structural flaws are visible.
