A distinctive rag & bone crew neck built around a monochrome Rorschach-style inkblot graphic. The symmetrical black artwork spreads across the chest, with embroidered rag & bone lettering layered through its centre and NEW YORK positioned below. The dark embroidery partly recedes into the printed image, making the branding feel integrated into the artwork rather than placed over it.

The sweatshirt is constructed from off-white cotton terry with a lightly textured outer surface. Ribbing at the neckline, cuffs and wide hem gives it a traditional athletic shape, while a small black rag & bone tab finishes one cuff. The interior has a soft terry finish and the ribbed sections contain a small amount of stretch for shape retention.

Its 65cm chest width creates a generous silhouette. It can be worn as a relaxed size L or as a comfortable regular XL. The monochrome design works particularly well with dark denim, fatigue trousers or understated workwear layers.

Presented in exceptional condition. The off-white body remains bright, the inkblot print is complete and the embroidered lettering shows no visible damage.

Founded in New York in 2002 by Marcus Wainwright and Nathan Bogle, rag & bone began with a focus on menswear and denim. David Neville later joined Wainwright in developing the label into an internationally recognised New York brand.

Its collections combine British tailoring influences with American workwear, denim and modern sportswear. Alongside its understated wardrobe pieces, rag & bone has regularly used photography, abstract graphics and New York references across its casual collections. This sweatshirt represents the more graphic side of the label while retaining the substantial cotton construction associated with its menswear.
